I sometimes come once a while TMI dude! Been checking out some of the historical roleplay sims on Second Life. SL is a piss-poor client, but I'm kinda used to that after RV. And it's a pretty good community there these days once you get past the furries and the twi-hards. Also it's free! Have a screenshot. This is the Capua : Blood and Sand sim. Around 30-50 people are logged on there most nights. I've been in SL since 05. What's your name over there?

Second Life! OMG! My wife has been hocked on there for about 7 years now. I will get her to take a look around and see what it is all about.
Her first job will be to stab Gratus in the eye with a sharp stick.
Love you all,,, a bit....

The Capua place (in Crimson Spear II) seems REALLY well done and abounding in RP. Might be a place to stage a mini Vardulli reunion.

SL is what you make of it. What was crappy about it in your opinion?

SL is what you make of it. Ha, so true! Once you have wrestled with the client, you can pretty much make your own game in SL. For instance, the graphics are what you make them. So you can make this: Or this: And everything in between.

the most crapiest was the char movement if u ask me and that u dont have an idea what to do when you start The default character movement is awful, but that can be fixed with an AO (Animation Override). In the sense of not having an idea what to do, its very much like RV in that respect. You've got to find a group or join a community who will help out and show you the ropes, or you will be another wandering lost noob.

Does Gratus RP the part of an abusive sex overlord preying on younger victims of both sex? Or is he living a lie?

Does Gratus RP the part of an abusive sex overlord preying on younger victims of both sex? Or is he living a lie? So that means there wasnt an intitation into the Vardulli that involved oiling up wearing nothing but a gimp mask?

So that means there wasnt an intitation into the Vardulli that involved oiling up wearing nothing but a gimp mask? SL has the animations for that. Actually, RV kind of ruined me for roleplay. Mostly I put on a goat avatar and run around parrying people's spears. Now and then I might put down a few posts and RP making limestone adds for hours on end. It freaks me out every time I cross between two sims and I don't crash, so I usually pour coffee on my laptop to simulate the experience.
