Hey, wankers! I went to see Vindolanda and the Roman Army Museum yesterday, which is near to where I'm living at the moment. They have a bunch of tablets from the wall on display there, and one inparticular caught my eye:  "The rest owe: Ingenuus, denarii 7 Acranius, denarii 3 the Vardullian cavalrymen, denarii 7 the companion of Tagamatis (?) the flag-bearer, denarii 3 total, denarii 20." Which of you arseholes owes someone 7 denarii?? |

Tried both of those Colum, neither held my attention for long. Both pretty shallow at the end of the day.
How was the Museum mate? Cost much to get in and packed full of intyeresting shit?

I'm still hammering away in Wurm. I haven't looked into many other games though, mainly due to being on the road so much. I'm in the Mol Rehan faction on the Wild server(PVP).

I don't think you can find a better game than Wurm for crafting, it's very detailed.
The Wild server has a low population, to many players worried about PVP so the majority play on nonPVP servers.
You can move to different servers when you want basically, with some penalties. They just opened a new server called Epic so alot of people have moved there to try it out.
I'll be staying on the Wild server for now, we have a large village built with walls and tunnels, pretty safe inside. It's always under new construction though with improvements. Everybody has their own stone house with a fenced in yard to grow crops, keep horses and/or cows. We also have a small port we keep our boats and ships in.
The combat system is full loot with a few small exceptions. Hunting trips are quite fun for gaining combat skills.
Altogether i like the game alot, but i'm only on during the weekends. We have several people ingame most of the day. Lately though, several of our villagers are tying the new servers that came out recently.
My character name is Rhasinah, and our village name is Arachnadelphia, server is Wild, Kingdom is Mol Rehan (MR for short)

How do I find you when logged in Meddy? At first you'll go to the free server, there are "stone portals" there that take you to other servers. You just have to find the one for Mol Rehan Wild. The portals are all grouped in one area if they haven't changed it. That portal will take you to a town called Gold Coast, the "capital" of the Mol Rehan Kingdom. Wild is a "premium" server so it requires the subscription fee to access, you may want to fool around on the tutorial (free) server for a few days if you want. It may give us a bit of time to hook up also. |
