Legio XXVI Primoris Vallo
Ave citizens! The time has come to publicly announce the arrival of Legio XXVI Primoris Vallo in south-east Caledonia.
The 26th Legion will be rendezvousing with auxiliary unit Cohors I Vardullorum Equitata and establishing their base of operations in the vicinity of Corstopitum. Experienced military commander Gallus Glorious Vassenius has been appointed as Legate of this unit.
The location of the campus will enable the 26th to coordinate with both the Vardulli and 6th Legion in the defence of Corstopitum, as well as offering other necessary aid to the town as required.
As with any frontier region, Caledonia can be a dangerous place. Both the 26th Legion and associated auxiliary the Vardulli are committed to engaging and subduing the barbarian threat to the north. Gloria Romae!
Already we are abuzz with activity, but we are also eager to recruit more loyal Roman soldiers to our ranks.
With an established campus just a short distance north of Corstopitum, we have the resources to offer you a bright future and many opportunities, whether your personal interest is in combat or in a specific crafting trade. If you choose to enlist with us you will recieve all the skills training and equipment you need to get started, along with the advice and experience of our veterans.
All we expect in return is a positive and mature attitude, and a willingness to follow orders and to contribute for the good of the guild.
